The father of a very close friend of mine recently passed away very tragically and I’ve been feeling very down since. First time I’ve been really sad this year. Sad for her not for him cos death is a natural part of life but it’s never easy losing a loved one.

My first post with my iPhone and I think it’ll be appropriate to say how I got the iPhone.
My dad used my plan to buy iPhone 3gs for my step mom, and gave me my step mom’s old iPhone 1g which is about three years old. And I was just planning to buy the 3gs. FML.

I’m watching the trilogy again, for the 5th time methinks. I always need reminding why it’s my favourite book/movie of all time, and i’m always reminded.

If i wrote a book, it wouldn’t be about how a guy buys a million roses, sets it up in his lover’s garden in the wee hours of the morning, and kneel in the center with a proposal to take care of her for the rest of her life, with her acceptance following
a typical scene would be one where the protagonist does that, gets rejected, and sees his love fall in love with a guy who would slap her around and treat her like how he treats his two prized dogs. and no they wont live happily ever after. they wouldn’t live happy, or long. either he would die from her stabbing him, or she from him beating her to death in one of his drunken stupors.
and about the protagonist.. since the tale is about him, it ends there. ‘cos his heart died with her. and once your heart dies, there are no stories left to tell.
it would be a tale where chivalry is dead. and women killed it.
now, no one would buy a book like this, because the books that sell, are of fantastic delusions that help the readers escape the reality that is life.
actually the only book that comes close is great expectations (with the original ending). the alternate ending they used in the publication is a perfect example of my previous paragraph.
